I have practiced in a variety of settings as a mental health counselor including private practice, schools, wilderness therapy programs and as the clinical director of a residential supportive housing program in New York City. I believe that every hardship is an invitation to better know ourselves, those around us and our communities. I believe in the importance of strong therapeutic relationships and emphasize consistency, transparency and deep listening in my work. My approach is strength based, emotionally focused and trauma informed. I utilize mindfulness based practices, psychodynamic approaches and cognitive behavioral frameworks to facilitate therapy that is at once holistic and evidence based.
